Good Morning my beautiful ladies,

I've been good... here and there... you know... I get lost sometimes... so.... I entered a swap over at Creating the Crafty Life... Valentine's cards swap... I had to make (still in the process) 6 cards 2 different designs... so I was going crazy didn't know what to make or papers to use... Finally I got some pp @ Michael's can't recall the brand now and I got down to it but wasn't happy with the results :( I don't know how many colored images I threw away... you know I don't really know how to color with copics... I'm learning... speaking of learning the Copic certification class is coming to MIAMI... oh yes there are and I signed up for it.... can't wait :D:D:D:D so excited!!!!! what was I saying oh yes!... I always like to do my best my BFF is always telling me "you're too tough on yourself" sooo not true lol but anyways I've only made 3 card so far... the ones I threw away don't count... I'll finish the rest tonite....

I got to confess I went a little over my confort zone... tried the ribbon folding technique (don't know if it has a name) used some stick pins I had for over 3 or 4 years... yeah my STASH is coming to life lol (can someone relate????) and my digi stamps did not bled this time yay!!! Ok here it is...

Hello there and Happy Sunday! I've got a few things to share today.

First and foremost I won Challenge #17 over at Creating the Crafty Life with the following card

Recipe: Bazzil Cardstock, Pink Cat Studio digi stamp colored with my wonderful copic markers and I got to use my crimper on the solid green cardstock, Liquid Glass for the ornaments on the tree and red rhinestones & for the pp I don't really remember.

So using the same sketch I made a few cards for a swap at Scrapbooking Latinas a facebook based group and this is what I came up with....

Also, I've been experimenting with beads making stick pins, I must say I love it.... here are my results

Happy Spooky Birthday Karla!

Karla and I met back in 2006 and we have been good friends ever since... we are practically family. I remember the first time she went to my house for a "crop" lol we talked the entire time... it's incredible how time flies... anyways it was her birthday this month and as part of the Sweet Card Club DT she decided to keep on celebrating with a simple challenge: you needed to color a digital stamp, use it in any project you want and it has to have something Green, her favorite color. I'll leave you guys with my card... but before that I most say the design of my card is part of the Weekly Card Challenge at Creating The Crafty Life and I also entered on Pattie's Creations challenge #32... head over to both of the blogs to participate!

I used my copic makers to color the imagine, bazzil card stock for the card, K&CO Company pattern papers and my spica pens for the spider web :)

Halloween Greatings Crafties,

I can't say I love Halloween because it goes against my believes but this year I gave it a try. I guess I got inspired by the little kids and their customs. Children are so innocent and I asked myself why can't I??? so I decided to overlook the real meaning of Halloween and just have fun with the witches and their brooms and the pumpkin patches, my stamps, copics and my beautiful stack of pattern papers... Yes, I've been very busy creating my first Halloween projects ever but for now I leave you guys with a beautiful card I created on a spooky night.....

The card is pretty simple and self explanatory lol... you know me I like to keep it simple and clean but yet elegant... like my sister says "Less is More"... Enjoy!

Hello ladies, it's been a rough couple of months for me reason why I've been MIA... for those of you that don't know me I've been on fertility treatment since December 2010... so here I am after three failed treatments and heartbreaking news.... still no babies... I want to believe deep down that God has a plan and that HE is in control.... Also last week my auntie (my mom's little sister) passed away... we are going through hard times as a family but we are hanging in there... as long as we are together as a family everything will be fine. I would like to thank family and friends that have been there for us..... A big Thank You from the bottom of my heart!

On another note I came across Simply Betty Stamps website and the owner is going through hard times with her son... He was diagnosed with throat cancer... I would like to ask you ladies to please pass by her blog to read her saddening news and if possible make a donation.... A good deed is its own reward!!!

Last but not least, I opened a group on Meet Up for crafters around my area cause the hobby feels kind of lonely and I'm in need of inspiration and crafty friends!!! I have a few members and this past Saturday was our first official meeting... it was an online meeting cause we didn't want to feel awkward or anything lol... so I want to thank the girls for making it happen it was fun and it was awesome to meet them. :)

Good Morning Friends,

My day started really early today. If you are asking how early? 5:00 AM, reallyyy early for a saturday morning, don't you think???... don't really know why though. Oooh well!

I decided to play with my copics (they were collecting dust) despite everything that I have going on right now crafting takes all of my worries away which is good, really good it helps me maintain my sanity lol.... so as I was saying I decided to color this cute little girl with an ice cream ( the correct name of the Digi stamp is Pixie Ice Cream Birgitta by C.C. Designs Swiss) using red, violet, yellow and the skin colors; I realize I don't really have that many colors even though I have 24 markers {my birthday is coming up ;)} oh yeah back to the image so I try not to rush this time...cause sometimes I do and the results are not good. Since this is my first official colored image needless to say I am very proud of my results, of course it needs work but I tried to had as much fun as possible.... judge for yourself....

So I had this cute girl in a summery/beach mood and asked myself now what? I went to Mojo Monday blog for inspiration and make the card, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger right? So I went for it. I used S.E.I. Ally's Wonderland Dizzy Daysi pattern paper, Kraft cardstock, SU bright cardstock, some flower border I had which I colored with R35, sentiment from SU Sentimientos de dulzura stamp set... translation "celebrate with sweetness every moment!" and to top it off Close to my Heart Liquid Glass to make the ice cream a little bit realistic gotta love it. Here is the card. Enjoy!

Birthday Invitations

Hi ladies!
What have I been working on???? Well let me tell you... My friend from High School called me to help her plan her baby girl 1st Bday party (she thinks I'm her personal party planner)... First she had in mind lady bug theme but then changed to Minnie Mouse so I looked around for ideas and came across an invitation at Etsy that I felt in love with I showed to her and she loved it the only problem was she did not wanted to pay $1.50 per invite so I told her I could try and make it.... so here I was in Michaels :) buying Black Bazzil Cardstock & Light Pink Polka Dot Pattern Paper and of course I need it Mickeys and Friends Cricut Cartridge but I didn't had it so I asked Karla if I could borrow it... materials and tools in hand and this is what I came up with... very similar to the one at Etsy cost me (her) only supplies.... so made 45 so far... but I'll be making a little more....
So here it is taraaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn...............

Happy Birthday Card

I made this card for the PCW Challenge #6 - Digital Stamp Birthday & Glitter since I did not have any digital image or printer (currently not in working conditions) I used an old clear stamp I had... I didn't have markers well I do but Karla has them lol so I used a blender pen and the pastels from SU!.... I'm currently working towards the copic markers but I'm so overwhelmed.... I just don't know which ones to get!!!
Hopefully my card gets accept it... Nothing fancy but I enjoyed making it.

Father's Day in May

The weekend started really bad with a flat tire on Friday... so Saturday I woke up inspired by Father's Day... I don't know why though lol so I decided to create a card for my dad... I remember I had the Boatload of Love stamp set from Stampin Up! which it was perfect since he used to love fishing... I realized I didn't have any way of making a wave, conveniently my sister call requesting her saturday shopping time and I convinced her to only go to DSW but she had to pass by Michaels!!! so here I am no car and at Michaels with the sis :) and I found a wave punch perfect!!! Enough now... here is my card I'll let you be the judge.

P.S. The Fish Globe Ball it was a gift from my dad. He brought it while he was working in GA. He gave one to each of his daughters. Love my daddy!!!

My friend Marcia is a voluntary worker at "His House" and she thought of doing a class for the foster girls in one of the houses.... I was in charge of the scrapbook part and this is what I came up with.... it's from a sketch don't really remember where I got it (Sorry!)... The whole event was a Blessing!!!!

My First Time....

...making Lollipop Flowers so let me tell you the whole story.... There is a challenge going on @ Scrapbook.com and I had a vision of the layout I wanted to make but I need it roses; I tried my Cricut but didn't really like the outcome so I started searching online and came across some videos on youtube about Lollipops flowers so I when to Jo-ann's (my mom came along) to get me some fabrics I got Pink, Black & Red on Costume Satin also got feathers, hot glue gun & some other stuffs. I couldn't wait to get home so I started looking around my mom's place for circle patterns and we ended up using her cups, medicine & perfume bottles it was pretty funny a little frustrating too cause the lighter kept turning off lol but overall we had fun and it was nice to do something with my mom. Anyways, I really liked the results... now, it is not perfect or anything but I think it came out pretty cool.... Enough with the chit chat... I'll let you be the judge!!!

Decidi hacer el reto de Sweet Card Club y eh aqui mis resultados....

Esta tarjeta la hice por error tratando de usar el cartucho de la cricut para hacer la tarjeta original y decidi terminarla... igual use los mismos colores del reto....

I wish you all and your families the very best on this NEW year... I would like to share some important events that happened to me on 2010...

We (my husband and I) moved to an apartment by ourselves Yipe!!!
I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism... which explains a lot!!!
I finally met with a fertility doctor.... still running tests...
I reunited with my best friends more like sisters from church; we lost contact like 8 years ago... It's a blessing having them in my life again.
Least but not last my grandma still with us :)

Ok, enough with the boring stuff.... HAVE A WONDERFUL YEAR!!!

Wow is good to be back... Well I was determined (today) to like my Gypsy so after a long afternoon/evening and Vero's patience I finally made something worth to admire with my Cricut expression and Gypsy... Despite the fact that it took me forever to finish the card I had fun and to tell you the truth is kind of addictive.... Needless to say I loved the results so I decided to send it to my sister to let her know how much I love her and appreciated her... hope she likes it....

This morning (4:00am) my hubby went to work so I couldn't go back to sleep I started thinking about a card my mother in law asked me do for a friend of her. After a lot of search on the Wild Card cartridge cause I'm not much of a pro using the cricut or gypsy I finally got my size up and cutting lol and this is what i came up with....

I'm very proud of the results since I colored in the bucket and it was my first design lol without coping anybody :D (yay me!!!!!!)

Hello people I have been out of this for a while...
Well I have been busy at work and @ home. Life has change a lot... due to the recession my in laws moved into my house...things has been ok so no drama at all... good right????? I got a ticket for speeding @ a sunpass toll, was rushing to get to work... my dad is been sick twice in the past 6 months, my friend Karla had another baby girl named her Ana Sofia so after all life have been good....
Anyways... I went to Cuba last Christmas. I had the best time ever with family and old friends things haven't change much but It's really upsetting to leave your family behind but that's life...
I have decided to become a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! thanks to one of my fellow scrappers Rosie... so let's see how that goes lol...

Hola a todos que pasan por aqui a saber de mi... hacia mucho que no estaba por aca... he estado ocupada en el trabajo y en casa... muchas cosas han pasado ultimamente. Mis suegros se mudaron a mi casa debido a la recession del pais, pero nada malo ha pasado todo ha marchado bien... Me pusieron una multa por esta a alta velocidad en un toll, iba tarde para el trabajo, mi papa se ha enfermado dos veces en menos de 6 meses, mi amiga Karla tuvo otra bebita preciosa asi que al final dia hay mas cosas buenas que malas...
Viaje a Cuba en navidades, la pase de lo mejor con mi familia y viejas amistades; la isla sigue igual casi nada ha cambiado pero es bien doloroso dejar a tu familia detras pero la vida es asi y debemos continuar.
En cuanto al Scrap pues no he echo mucho ultimamente... decidi hacerme demostradora de Stampin Up! gracias a mi amiga Rosie que me ayudo... ya veremos como funciona esto jaja

Today is my birthday... my mom cooked me a special dinner, my sister & her husband bought me an ice cream cake from Cold Stone... hmm delicious!!! I went to CKU in Ft Lauderdale for the first time ever with my friend Karla, I liked it even tought the classes were a little fast passed, I met really great & creative girls, the fair.. didn't like it that much but we bought some goodies. Este fue un canvas que altere para un swap y me toco regalarle a Leelee espero que le haya gustado, se lo hice con mucho cariyo, tengo que darle las gracias a la mami de Karla que me ayudo mucho en la pintura porque soy un caos jajajaja ...

Esto es uno de los cuadros que he echo para vender... lo puse en Etsy pero al igual que en Ebay no tuve mucha suerte... pero mi mami en su trabajo me lo vendio y pues ya tengo algunas encarguitos jijijii... espero que les guste.... Asi que ya saben si quieren algo me dejan saber jajajaja

Hello ladies!!!
How was your weekend? Mine was expectacular... I went to the beach on Sunday with my good friend Karla and her family and my other friend Dami... I got a shrimp tan lol... it hurts like crazy anyways.... On saturday the mail dropped a very special envelope, It was a PBA from my friend Vero, it was a swap in one of the groups I belong... Today, the mail dropped another huge box full of goodies lol... and this time I got my canvas a beautiful canvas OMG... Well until next time... Enjoy the pixs ....

Como les fue en el fin de semana? El mio estuvo expectacular... Fui a la playa este domingo con mi amiga Karla y su familia y mi otra amiga Dami... Coji un sol que paresco camaron jajajaja... como me duele!!!
Este sabado el cartero me dejo un sobre muy especial era un PBA de mi amiga Vero, el cual es un swap de uno de los grupos a los que pertenesco esta bello... Hoy, recibi una caja grandicima de muchas cositas de scrap y entre ellas un canvas de otra swap que esta preciosa...

Beach/Playa

Well people, life is been hectic... I'm been babysitting for 3 weeks now... still looking for a job, I've applied almost in every add that I seen but nothing... but life is good.

My family and I went to the beach two weeks ago and we had a BLAST.... I mean OMG the beach was great. So I made this double layout out hope u guys enjoy it....

Bueno seyores, la vida ha estado loca... He estado de niyera por 3 semanas ya... aun sigo buscando trabajo pero nada aun, he aplicado en casi todos los anunciones que he visto pero nada... pero la vida es buena.

Mi familia y yo fuimos a la playa hace dos semanas atras y disfrutamos cantidad... La playa estaba maravillosa. Yo hice un layout doble espero que les guste.

Holasssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, por aqui updating jajajaja bueno hoy fue un dia muy especial y stresante a la vez.... Por que?? Bueno les cuento.... Hoy fue el examen final de mi escuela, la certificacion de Codificacion y Facturacion Medica... estuvo un chin dificil y mas que nada challenging pero gracias a Dios que lo pase con un 87.31 de score... pero como dijo mi maestro "la nota no importa sino el haberlo pasado" y estoy super feliz asi que ya saben jajaja ahora pa'lante a buscar empleo....

Recordando el pasado... fin de semana jajajaja pues fue la boda de mi sister y estuvo estupenda luego de que se la paso lloviendo pues ni modo tuvimos una BODA EXEPCIONAL... super nice todo y al final terminamos como pollos mojados bailando jajajajaja bajo la luna y la lluvia pues claro... pero lo importante fue que los novios estaban felizes y les deseo lo mejor I Love my sister....

He estado trabajando en un paper bag album para un swap no puedo decir porque es secreto asi que se aguantan para las fotos de todas maneras he estado algo fuera de circulacion... ya ven que la musa se me ha ido jajajajajaja pero ni modo esta regresando....

Otro acontecimiento este viernes nos vamos Karla, Kamila, Mami (Karla's Mom) y yo para ORLANDO......... siiiiiiiiiiiiii seyoressssssssssssssss para la Expo donde nos vamos a encontrar las lokitas de las D'Orginal Latin Scrap Divas que super nice eh? pues si haremos de todo pj party y mucho shopping en la expo jajaja bueno espero verlas a todas y volver a sentir cositas bellas como la primera vez....

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii... ya las extrayaba... por aqui ando nuevamente, la escuela, el trabajo, las entrevistas de trabajooooooooooooo todo me tiene como loca jajaja anyways... Bueno este ayo comence bien.... segun yo jajaja... Mi amiga Ana me ha regalado un Yorkieeeeeeeee siiiiiiiiipp se llama Toki es algo cabeza duro pero bien cariyoso... y mi perra pos por fin pario y tengo una perrita de ella le pusimos Cookie (porque su mami es un Brownie lol) anyways....

La escuela va super, ya casi termino... el trabajo agotador y acabando con mi espalda... la familia de pelos y todos bien....

No hay dias en los que sientes que todo sale mal????????????? Fue uno de esos dias para mi, que tristeza, mi esposo tuvo un accidente en su truck (todo bien GAD), no pude trabajar a causa de eso... salio un problema con el reporte de creditooo de el... y pues mas problemas y problemas... pero bueno esperando que manana sea un dia mejor......

Aqui les dejo mi primer layout de Ayo Nuevo... Lo hice sobre miiiiiiiiiiiiiii jajajajaja pero que bella quede en esa foto... mi guie por un sketch de Valerie Salmon pero como que el resultado no fue el mismo jajaja sorry pero me quedo lindo digo eso digo yo ustedes que creen?????????

Ok mi fiesta de ayo nuevo fue buena.... en casa de un buen amigo viejo de Cuba... casi mi hermano.... Bueno por el momento estoy trabajando en un swap a un grupo precioso al pertenesco... no puedo poner fotos pero ni modo............ Aqui mis resoluciones nuevas para el 2008 espero cumplirlas :-)

En lo personal:

Bajar de peso hasta llegar a 180 lbs para asi subir mi autoestima
Ver a un doc a ver si puedo tener a mi bebe
Graduarme y seguir estudiando para conseguir mi bachelor degree
Hacer lo mejor posible para mantener mi familia unida....
Algo bien importante lograr ir de vacaciones a Mexicooooooooooooooo yeyyyyyyyyy

En lo de scrapbook:

Cumplir con mis swaps a tiempo
Hacer un layout por dia para asi terminar mis albumns atrasados como el de mi graduacion jajajaja (lo se lo se)
Tratar de aprender tecnicas nuevas y aventarme a hacer cosas nuevas

Hoy estoy algo triste ya que mi familia por una cosa u otra no han querido celebrar Navidades, asi que EL GRINCH paso por mi casa jejeje pero bueno no hay problem seguro que yo y mi esposito hiremos a comer por ahi... pero ese es mi trauma.... no agobios para mis frieds.

Muchas Felicidades a todos/as mis amigos/as, les deseo lo mejor del mundo para estas Navidades y que Dios les cumpla todos los deseos de sus corazones... los quiero un monton....
