Catching Up....

Hellloooooooo.... I know I know I have some serious issues with posting lol... Sorry!!! Now down to business... I've worked on several projects well only 3 lol so I'll leave you with the pictures....

My friend Marcia is a voluntary worker at "His House" and she thought of doing a class for the foster girls in one of the houses.... I was in charge of the scrapbook part and this is what I came up with.... it's from a sketch don't really remember where I got it (Sorry!)... The whole event was a Blessing!!!!

This was my St. Valentine's Layout... I know is April lol... sorry the pic is not so good cause I framed it.

My First Time....

...making Lollipop Flowers so let me tell you the whole story.... There is a challenge going on @ Scrapbook.com and I had a vision of the layout I wanted to make but I need it roses; I tried my Cricut but didn't really like the outcome so I started searching online and came across some videos on youtube about Lollipops flowers so I when to Jo-ann's (my mom came along) to get me some fabrics I got Pink, Black & Red on Costume Satin also got feathers, hot glue gun & some other stuffs. I couldn't wait to get home so I started looking around my mom's place for circle patterns and we ended up using her cups, medicine & perfume bottles it was pretty funny a little frustrating too cause the lighter kept turning off lol  but overall we had fun and  it was nice to do something with my mom. Anyways, I really liked the results... now, it is not perfect or anything but I think it came out pretty cool.... Enough with the chit chat... I'll let you be the judge!!!

RETO # 5: Reto de Colores!!!

Decidi hacer el reto de Sweet Card Club y eh aqui mis resultados....

La hice con el tema de simpatia.... espero les guste es super sencilla... La imagen la pinte usando los markers de Stampin Up.

 

Esta tarjeta la hice por error tratando de usar el cartucho de la cricut para hacer la tarjeta original y decidi terminarla... igual use los mismos colores del reto....

Happy New Year....Feliz Año Nuevo!!!!

I wish you all and your families the very best on this NEW year... I would like to share some important events that happened to me on 2010...

• We (my husband and I) moved to an apartment by ourselves Yipe!!!
• I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism... which explains a lot!!!
• I finally met with a fertility doctor.... still running tests...
• I reunited with my best friends more like sisters from church; we lost contact like 8 years ago... It's a blessing having them in my life again.
• Least but not last my grandma still with us :)

Ok, enough with the boring stuff.... HAVE A WONDERFUL YEAR!!!

Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridge

Wow is good to be back... Well I was determined (today) to like my Gypsy so after a long afternoon/evening and Vero's patience I finally made something worth to admire with my Cricut expression and Gypsy... Despite the fact that it took me forever to finish the card I had fun and to tell you the truth is kind of addictive.... Needless to say I loved the results so I  decided to send it to my sister to let her know how much I love her and appreciated her... hope she likes it....

This morning (4:00am) my hubby went to work so I couldn't go back to sleep I started thinking about a card my mother in law asked me do for a friend of her. After a lot of search on the Wild Card cartridge cause I'm not much of a pro using the cricut or gypsy I finally got my size up and cutting lol and this is what i came up with....

I'm very proud of the results since I colored in the bucket and it was my first design lol without coping anybody :D (yay me!!!!!!)

Updating....

Hi.... been out of the hook for a while as usual lol.... anyways starting my old post... the great news I was talking about were my Cicut expression and my Gypsy that hubby got for X-Mas (yay me) so I'll leave you with some of my recent work.... hope u like them!!!
