Reto/Challenge #42 Sketch Time

Good Morning America, 

hahaha I'm feeling a little patriotic today ;)

Ok so today is challenge day @ Latinas en America and we have something different this time... our lovely Monica created a sketch for us to either use it on a card or layout. Here it is

Well don't be anxious, I'll show you guys in a minute just let me tell you a bit about my piece; My BFF daughter's , BELLA, arrived 5 days ago to this extraordinary world and auntie Tahi  has been busy working  on her album so needles to say I created the most beautiful layout ever (just kidding Bella is the one making it beautiful) so without further ado I present to you my beautiful niece BELLA.

Now for my project I created a 5"x5" card using Pearl the mermaid from Saturated Canary, I colored it with my copics and I used some recollection pearls to make the effect of bubbles. Hope you like it!

Celebrating

Hi you guys... It's FRIDAY you know what that meansssssssss.... the weekend is here yay :) ok ok settle down lol it also means is Pattie's Creation DT post aren't you excited???????

Before we get to my project I would like to tell you guys a bit about my crazy week....  My hubby has been in pain (back pain) for the past 4 months... so after many many pills the doc decided it was time for an MRI... guess what he has 2 damage discs and 1 of those is herniated plus moderate spinal stenosis... my poor babe no wonder he couldn't even sleep at night needless to say he kept me awake so the lack of sleep and headaches were getting to me lol; thankfully he is receiving treatment already. He's pain has subside and we have been able to sleep for the past two days :)... so if you were wondering were has I been now you know... so unto my project.

I made a card to celebrate my husband recuperation... I used the Wine Bottle Still Life digi color it with my copics and I must say it is not my best I have to keep practicing :( but overall I think it came out pretty cute.  What do you guys think???????

I was lucky enough to have almost a complete 12x12 sheet of the purple pattern paper that I bought at Michael's a while back to make a project for the Fibromyalgia Awareness Day and for a blog hop about Abusive Relationships to give the shape I used my spellbinders Small Deckled Mega Rectangles and inked the edges with Warm Violet Color Box cat eyes ink, used Gorjuss rubber stamp - New Heights which it was perfect for it and some seam binding ribbon that I had laying around for quite a while and finito... simple but cute :)

Estoy algo atrazada en la entrada de hoy porque entre el trabajo y mi esposito que esta enfermo no he tenido mucho tiempo, pero como bien dice el titulo hoy es dia de retos en Latinas en America y hoy se trata de usar escarcha o purina o cualquier cosa que haga nuestros proyectos brillar como las estrellas.... 

I'm running a little with my entry for today's challenge over at Latinas en America. Today's theme is to use glitter, purine or any other project that makes our projects shine like the stars.... 

Yo cree una tarjeta que se llama Double Dutch en ingles pero no es mas que una tarjeta regular con dos puertecitas debajo.. aqui les dejo la foto....

Challenge #52 - Embossing

Hey ladies,

So today is Pattie's Creation Challenge day and it's all about embossing... any kind of embossing.

I created a card for my best friend that is about to give birth to my "niece" Bella... I used the Stork & Baby digi stamp from Pattie's Creations isn't the baby adorable?????????? Anyways here's my card

I used a smooth recollection cardstock for my base 5"x7", the pattern paper is the baby girl design from K&Company and I embossed with the Polka Dots embossing folder from sizzix, I used spellbinders dies for the shape of the main image and the sentiment. Also the image image was color with copics markers... so what do you guys think????????????

Reto #39 Bebe

Holas chicas,

Otra semanita mas ya ha pasado y estoy de vuelta con el nuevo reto de Latinas en América. Esta vez se trata de bebe: deben usar cintas y botones no redondos de esos tenemos muchos usen su imaginación...

 Esta semana no tenemos patrocinador para tenemos un set de stamps y otras sorpresitas así que animencen y a crear esos proyectos... Hablando de proyectos aquí esta el mío.

Cree una tarjeta usando el suaje de spellbinder cuadrado para darle la forma a la tarjeta. El bebe es de sticker y lo tenía en mis cosas ya hacia un tiempo los otros adornitos son unos botones que compre en Michaels verdad que están bellos????

Bueno que esperan??? Busquen sus cositas y a trabajar para participar con nosotros. Un beso y espero ver su proyectos.
