Happy Tuesday everyone,

It's been a while since I made anything... It happens when life gets in the way. Well I'm back for good :)

I made a simple but fun card for my husband's cousin she did so well in school.

My recipe very simple... Orange cardstock, school pattern paper from my scrap stash, scallop punch on blue cardstock as a border for my pattern paper and Maraschino twine from My Life in Arts n Crafts Store to accentuate the border.

Hope you have enjoyed my project today and don't forget to check out My Life in Arts n Crafts store for all your twine, ribbon, bling and more.

A Good Life... My Life!

Hello Ladies... I know I've been MIA for the past week or so... I've been dealing with some family issues but everything is getting resolved and hopefully my life goes back to “normal” SOON cause I desperately need it... aside from that I've dealing with my own problem, not sure if I've mentioned it before, but I suffer from PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). PCOS affects a women’s overall health but the worst is not been able to conceive... it’s been a year and half, I believe, since my hubby and I tried ART (Assisted Reproductive Therapy) without luck... it was a devastating and tiresome process. We ended up sacrificing and losing so much to gain absolutely nothing but a broken heart. So ever since our BFN (Big Fat Negative) I've been depressed and I am hanging in there for most days but sometimes it really gets to me... losing my aunt and my friend last year really made everything worse but I tried to focus on work and crafting while all I wanted to do was die. Today, I feel better I feel like I can conquer the world tomorrow I might not but I wanted you all to know what has been going on in my life for the past 2 years... also I wanted to thank all of you that have been there for me in one way or another.  Thank you for your patience when I've been late for a project or when my posts are not live when they are suppose to be for a specific reason or just because blogger acts up but mostly for being my FRIENDS. I deeply appreciate and love each and every one of you.

FYI: I don’t want you to feel sorry for me or think that I don’t know that the grass is NOT always greener next door but this is my life and it affects me and by this I mean I know my problems are nothing compared to the rest of the world. Just thought I could share a piece of my story with you all, and let you know that no matter what I may be going through y’all are always in my thoughts. Your friend…

Love is in the Air Blog Hop

Valentines Day is right around the corner, so we are getting ready, by showing our valentine creations. You should be coming from Lissa http://somanycrafts.com

If not head on over to Jessi’s to get started.

I have used the Red Jute Twine from My Life in Arts’ n Crafts’ store. Jessi has some amazing new products over there, go take a look.

I created a clean and simple card with a white cardstock as my base and rounded my edges. The cool part about this card is that (at least I think so lol)  I pencil draw the two hearts then I traced the hearts with the tombo mono liquid glue waited a bit for the glue to get sticky and laid down the Red Jute Twine, stamp the sentiment and voila!

Jessi is giving away some goodies from her store to one lucky person who comments on all the blogs in the hop as well as you must be a follower.

Extra entry if you like the My Life in Arts’ n Crafts’ fan page. Comment on My Life in Arts’ n Crafts’ telling her you’ve done so.

Extra entry , OMG that means you have three chances to win!! Once you've gotten through the hop, head back over to Jessi’s and comment again saying what product you’d like to win. So you might wanna check out the store and decide. One lucky person will win their choice. Make sure you leave a way to get in contact you.

Head on over to Jamie http://www.jamielindstromdesigns.com to keep getting more inspirations.
